The house was transformed into an agriturismo in 1996 and great care has been taken to conserve the building's historical character whilst offering all the comfort of modern facilities. Many of the rooms have been furnished with antiques from the old Mottura family home in Piedmont – a way of keeping our own memories alive and offering our guests the warmest of welcomes.

La Tana dell'Istrice offers 8 comfortable double rooms and 3 suites, all with en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar and hairdryer.

All of the rooms are peaceful, elegant and spacious, and all but two look out onto the piazza and the ancient Monaldesca watchtower at the heart of Civitella d'Agliano.
